What merging does — and does not do
The tool combines whole PDF files. It does not rewrite text, compress images, repair damaged PDFs, or remove passwords. Interactive forms, unusual bookmarks, or embedded attachments can behave differently after documents are combined, so review the finished file before sending it.
On phones and tablets
Large multi-file jobs can use substantial memory. If Safari or Chrome stops during processing, close unused tabs or merge a smaller group first, then merge the resulting files.
